Men’s Stigma Support Group: Atomic Purpose

For men navigating stigma and figuring out who they are outside of what the world expects.

This group is for men who want to feel more grounded in who they are. Maybe you’ve dealt with stigma around your mental health, sexuality, race, herpes, chronic illness, relationship style—or maybe you’re just tired of feeling like you have to prove something all the time. Hell I went through a breakup and didn’t have a place to go to just recover from that! Finding this would’ve been damn useful to my relationship at least haha.

You don’t have to show up with answers. You don’t have to talk if you don’t want to. You just have to BE here. That’s enough.

We meet once a month and use stigma as a guide—not something to get rid of, but something to learn from. We also use an atomic structure to help organize how we show up in life. That means getting clear on your values (your center), your rhythm (your practices), and your actions (how you show up in the world).

This is an intentional space to practice presence, not performance.

About the Group

  • Meets: 2nd Monday of each month

  • Time: 7:30pm Central (on Zoom)

  • Donation-Based: Give what you can to help keep this space going

  • Hosted by: Courtney Brame

You’ll get:

  • A monthly space to talk—or just listen

  • A basic framework to help you build more awareness around who you are and what matters to you AND practice it

  • Journal prompts to help you check in with yourself and track where you’re aligned or misaligned in your life

Naruto as an Example (I’m an Anime fan and welcome all the analogies and recommendations)

If you’re familiar with Naruto, you already get this. He was stigmatized, misunderstood, and rejected—but kept showing up, found his people, and discovered who he was through it all. That’s the work we’re doing too.

Here’s Naruto’s atomic profile:

  • Proton (Purpose): To bring people together and protect connection (Become Hokage)

  • Neutron (Awareness): Chooses to transform pain instead of passing it on

  • Shell 1 (Values): Loyalty, belonging

  • Shell 2 (Practices): Training, staying connected, staying consistent

  • Shell 3 (Actions): Missions, friendships, leadership, speaking truth

You’ll make your own profile over time—if you want to.
