Support People Through Stigma—Not Around It

At Something Positive for Positive People (SPFPP), we offer training for healthcare professionals, therapists, educators, and public health workers who want to meet people with more presence—not performance.

We specialize in helping you understand how herpes and other identity-based stigmas impact the way people engage with care, relationships, and themselves. Our goal is to help you show up stigma-free.

What Does It Mean to Be Stigma-Free?

Being stigma-free isn’t about being perfect—it’s about presence.

It means showing up without judgment.
It means seeing the person beyond their diagnosis, beyond the label.
It means validating their existence through:

  • Gratitude – for their vulnerability and trust

  • Curiosity – about their lived experience, not your assumptions

  • Language – that affirms, not reduces

A stigma-free provider creates space for someone to be witnessed without shame—where their identity is honored, not questioned.
