Save the Date: SPFPP Stigma Minimization Conference
Friday, May 16, 2026 | San Antonio, TX + Virtual
Hosted by: Something Positive for Positive People
Theme: Skills Development for Working with Stigmatized Populations
We’re bringing the conversations we’ve been having on the mic into real space—live and in community.
Join us in San Antonio for a full-day experience centered on minimizing stigma across sexuality, healthcare, education, mental health, and substance use. This event is built for community, by community. If you’re someone who lives with, works with, or moves through the impact of stigma—this space is for you.
Whether you’re a provider, educator, advocate, or just curious about how to better support others while honoring your own story, this gathering is about translating awareness into action.

Why We’re Doing This
Because stigma doesn’t live in just one place—and neither should healing. This is about sharing what we’ve learned, what we’ve lived through, and how we keep showing up—for ourselves and each other.
We’ll explore:
How language reinforces or reduces shame
What mental wellness looks like beyond survival
The intersection of rest, sexuality, and identity
What it means to hold power, presence, and curiosity all at once
