SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go #1 March 11, 2024

An introduction to the intention of this series of classes for people to understand the direction of the program. This gives you an idea of what to expect moving forward in terms of the movement, and what is said. This is 1 of 20 classes to be completed with or without also reading Letting Go, by David R. Hawkins. Learn to experience and let go of our emotions around our diagnosis for better emotional health.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go #2 March 12, 2024

Here we introduce Dr. David R. Hawkins’ mechanism of surrender. In this restorative meditation class, we are in Savasana or corpse pose as Courtney explains the resistances we may have as we begin this process of surrendering emotions. We go over the ways we can experience emotions and what we do to avoid them: suppression, repression, expression, and escape.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go #3 Anatomy of Emotions March 14, 2024

Find emotional balance through this restorative Yoga class with minimal movement in the intro on all furs to create the need for balance and experience that withiin the body as we grasp the concept of emotional anatomy as a parallel through this practice. We talk about finding balance through recalibration, and how overtime we find that the time it takes to create that balance shortens the more familiar we get with the process.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go #4 Apathy, Depression, and Blame March 15, 2024

We discuss Apathy, Depression, and Blame. We share how "I can't" is really an "I won't". And using the "What for?" interrogation tactic makes us uncover fear that underlies our resistance to surrendering the emotion is actually a desire for or to do the actual thing. We want to release our attachment to the negative emotions so that we may remove resistance to the positive emotions, and don't let anger scare us because the energy of anger lets us move up the scale of surrendering the emotions.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go #5 Grief March 18, 2024

In grief we feel that things are too difficult, consider time wasted, and wonder "what if?". We discuss how anger and loss play a role in grief with this cycle effect. There's a fear of feeling the feeling for it to be let go, so we discuss how attachment prevents the process of experiencing the feeling and how we can prevent the grief of loss.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go #6 Fear & Guilt March 19, 2024

Fear serves a purpose of survival since birth. We have fear of heights, extreme temperature, traffic and fast moving objects. There is always fear to be let go of and surrendered. Fear to be surrendered can be hidden underneath even guilt. We talk about the influence of fear on guilt and how releasing fear allows us to be more loving, and love is how we let go of fear.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go #7 Desire March 21, 2024

We can define desire as a mild wanting to an obsessive driven craving. As an obstacle, there’s this idea we have to hold on to our desire in order to get what we want, but the reality is we don’t desire a thing in order to get it, we simply CHOOSE it, and the desire dissipates, removing the psychological distancing between us and what we desire.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go #8 Anger March 22, 2024

This is my favorite class to hav etaught so far. Anger is an emotion I am all too familiar with. I believe this session on anger helps us identify anger outside its familiar sense externally, so that we can observe its expressions internally and how it shows up in expectations, pride, illness, and how useful it is to action.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go Chapter #9 Pride March 25, 2024

Pride, often to be viewed as a good thing, is according to David R. Hawkins, devoid of love. I provide several examples throughout of how pride can show up in relation to herpes as we invite attack and concern ourselves with others' opinions about us if they were to find out our status. Humility and gratitude are healthy ways to minimize pride and the exercise of not using "mine" as a way of detaching from possessions is how we work through this state of being.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go Chapter #10 Courage March 26, 2024

Courage is the starting point for entering the more positive states of emotions. When we look at our fears with this willingness or "I can" attitude, we can view life as a series of opportunities for personal growth, facing our fears with courage is how we efficiently experience our emotions without limitation of self concern and survival. At this state, we experience self-empowerment, we learn, and we define spiritual searching as a search for meaning. As we remove negativity, we see more positivity in ourselves and in others.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go Chapter #11 Acceptance April 9, 2024

In acceptance, we feel secure and we feel that we can be of service to others in this state. The security of this state lets us be soft and natural. We feel that nothing needs to be changed, and here, we elevate from wanting to doing and being, and take personal responsibility for our own consciousness. While negative feelings still come up, we handle them with much greater ease.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go Chapter #12 Love April 10, 2024

At the level of love, the energy becomes HOW I can give to you rather than what can I get from you. As we elevate up the emotions scale to love, notice love's expressions outside a romantic context. It's assumptive state is giving. When we've surrendered all resistances to love, the world radiates love and it facilitates the healing of life. In love, one's nature becomes more important than its form.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go Chapter #13 Peace April 12, 2024

In peace there is an absence of awareness of time. Here we see effortless accomplishments out of choice. We understand at this level that all is connected, and we see this more and more as we practice presence. In peace, the pronoun "I" disappears and there's a reality of being all things experiencing the illusion of individuality. One life expressing itself through infinite unique expressions, that is our true inner nature.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go Chapter #14 Stress April 13, 2024

Stress is all about restoring balance. Here, we focus on identifying stress in the body and bringing awareness to it. We review the scale of emotional responses to the stressors of having to disclose a herpes diagnosis as it applies to the process of Letting Go of emotions. We review the negative emotional responses and examples of positive ones, and use some data from studies to highlight key factors in stress.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go Series Chapter #15 Mind and Body April 15, 2024

The mind's beliefs are carried out by the bio energy system through the nervous system. When I say we are not our minds or our body, THIS is what I refer to, that bio energy system that is the electrical current that runs through the nerves that allow us to experience all there is through our mind and body. When we talk about the mind, we have to look at our beliefs because we will experience those beliefs whether conscious or unconscious and the mind is the source of those beliefs.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go Chapter #16 The Benefits April 16, 2024

We explore the benefits of Letting Go. Here we compare its usefulness in combination with or absence of psychotherapy. Psychotherapy addresses the "why" whereas Letting Go directly addresses the "what" of our experiences. We explore the lifestyle changes that come with surrendering, how this practice is more efficient in problem solving than seeking answers mentally, and further exploration of the ego vs the truth of self.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go Chapter #17 Transformation April 18, 2024

The transformation process that Letting Go brings about talks about health, wealth, and happiness. The mind will begin to diminish our progress made through the Letting Go process, and the more we surrender, the more automatically our goals elevate. This is threatening to the ego which will latch on for dear life to survive because we are learning that it serves no purpose in this state. The body becomes a major attachment which becomes a source of other attachments like fear which can be more easily surrendered through detaching from the body. Prioritizing the spirit (seeking of truth) allows the body to seemingly take care of itself.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go Series Chapter #18 Relationships Part 1 April 28, 2024

Chapter 18 of the Letting Go series is all about relationships. We divided it into two parts so as not to have too long of a session. Part 1 is about negative emotions in relationships and we see how some of these can play out. We see the "I can't" and manipulation of emotions in relationships along with their potential outcomes.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go Series Chapter #18 Part 2 April 28, 2024

Part 2 of Chapter 18 on relationships is where we get into the positive emotions and the outcomes they bring about. We see what win win situations look like and we even see how different sex can be when we are willing to surrender our feelings about sex. Through surrendering into the more positive states, we tap into sensations that extend beyond the genital region and even beyond the body. We see what oneness and love looks like in relationships where there are mutual positive emotional states between partners.

SPFPP Yoga - Letting Go Series Chapter #19 & #20 Achievement of Vocational Goals and Self Healing April 30, 2024

We conclude our 20 sessions of the Letting Go SPFPP Yoga and Meditation Series where we apply techniques of letting go to our vocational goals and the workplace. Sales is an easy example to work from looking at the three main states of consciousness as inert, energetic and peaceful. We also look at these applications in the context of self-healing when it comes to our herpes diagnosis.
